The Blue Lagoon Beach Hotel is situated on the south east coast of Mauritius, and is only a short ten minutes drive from the airport. The hotel is set amongst beautiful tropical gardens. A white sun drenched beach and the crystal clear turquoise lagoon of Blue Bay surround the hotel. The bay is home for the "Coral Garden" a wonderful snorkeling area that is a Nature Reserve. The hotel's situation allows you to experience the best of both worlds; you can enjoy the beauty and tranquility of Blue Bay and the neighbouring village of Mahébourg, or you can visit the capital of Mauritius, Port-Louis which is only 45 mins drive by Taxi.

All rooms have individual air-conditioning unit, International direct dialing telephone, a satellite television (12 channels) featuring English, French, German and Italian programs of International channels, fridge upon request (fee Rs 50 per day), private shower and toilet (bath tub in superior rooms). All superior rooms are equipped with individual electronic safe. The hotel also provides individual electronic safe for each standard room in a locked room located near the reception.
Activities & Facilities
For the more energetic guest we have a large range of land and water sports available free of charge including, tennis, table tennis, volleyball, windsurfing, kayaking, pedaloes, snorkeling and mini sailboats. Deep sea fishing and diving can also be arranged at a surcharge.
We offer a wide spectrum of sailing activities and organize trips to the outlying islets. Our catamarans and speedboats cruise to the Ile Aigrettes, a 5 hectare islet 100-m off Blue Lagoon Beach Hotel. The islet consists of an old calcareous coral reef partially overlain by sand and soil deposits. It is an internationally important site as it was declared a nature reserve in 1965. Many of the plants found there grow nowhere else in the world.
